Yesterday, I had the chance to give a guest lectur Yesterday, I had the chance to give a guest lecture about all things social media for a class of marketing students at George Washington University School of Business & it was such a fun conversation! We talked about the realities of working in the social media industry, how managing social for a national nonprofit like @savingplaces differs from social for B2B & consumer businesses, & how strategy, creativity, & adaptability come together to make social media work. Thanks to Professor Brown for inviting me to share my experience in the industry & to the class for the thoughtful questions!
Somehow the 20-something Bookclub has become the 4 Somehow the 20-something Bookclub has become the 40-something Bookclub. 😳🥰 Within weeks of moving to DC in early 2011, I was introduced to an incredible group of women. Those early formative years in the city were shaped by late night conversations, endless happy hours, epic La Boum brunches, wine bar hopping, trying every rooftop in town, New Years at Codmother & Vegas Lounge, snow day hangs & long lazy weekends with these ladies. As time passed, people partnered, got married, moved away, had kids. It’s been 7 years since we were all together last. A weekend exploring Asheville & sharing life updates was just what we needed ❤️ #bookclub #weekendgetaway #reunion
