Aalborg is the fourth largest city in Denmark with a population of just over 120,000 (when I was there, it was third largest – Odense grew).
One of the best aspects of the city is the ability to walk everywhere. There’s also a fabulous bus system that rarely gets off schedule.
Other great things about Aalborg:
City Center
Train Station
Main Post Office
View from Aalborg Tower
Beautiful architecture
Great churches
Budolfi Kirke
Jomfru Ane Gade – the largest stretch of bars/restaurants in Scandinavia and the center of much debauchery.
*Fun Fact: Jomfru also features several Morning Bars. So when the clubs close at 4am you can head over to a Morning Bar and continue the party. This means you can literally stay out partying/drinking for days at a time.
Boulevarden – most scenic main drag
Kildeparken
